Elephant Safari-Amber,Jaipur
In Entire Rajasthan-India, Jaipur is only place where Elephants are found.Apart from Jaipur you cannot find elephants across Rajasthan.There are more than 300 Adult Elephants in the city and most of them are used for Safari,Wedding and Advertisements.
Due to lack of water and growing heat Government has requested the visitors not to support the Elephant Rides.

ReplyDeleteI've not been on an elephant. They used to have elephant rides at the Miami Zoo, but I think they have ceased those now...for the benefit of the elephants...

Colorful image, impressive beast! I came enough close to an elephant a couple of times, but never thought of riding it...

ReplyDeleteThat poses a dilemma. How will the men buy the elephants' food if they don't earn from the rides?
