Jaipur City Daily-Amber Palace Entrance
This photograph is taken from Amber Fort. This is the Royal entrance to the Palace. There is a painting on the entrance which is of Lord Ganesha. Before entering the Palace the King used to Worship him as he is supposed to be the Lord of Victory and Prosperity. The widows Above were for the Queens.Whenever the King used to come from a Battle the Queens used to welcome them by throwing the flowers on them through windows.

Another gorgeous building! I wonder how many "queens" the king had? Oh, I know the answer: Enough to keep him happy!
ReplyDeleteThe inlay marble work is beyond incredible! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe palace alone is magnificent but I love that you also explained about the door and the windows! Helps me appreciate it even more!
