This instrument is known as "Tabla".This is a set of two drums and is generally played.You can see a Sign in read color on the "Tabla" this represents that this is used for mythological activities and is dedicated specifically for that purpose.

They look like twins - almost. They are different, though. I wonder if they sound a bit different, too. And from what you said, I'd assume the one on the left can be used for any purpose...not just "mythological."
